Obligatory procedures of Medical examination,fingerptinting and photographing fot internaional students

• Passport +notarized translation into Russian (of the main passport page with photo). The transation into Russian must be stitched together with the photocopy of your passport; Important: Translation must be done in Russia and verified by the Russian notary only!
• Visa + its copy (for international students from visa required countries);
• Migration card + its copy;
• Migration registration + its copy;
• Medical examination results (medical certificate, HIV certificate, psychiatrist’s and narcologist’s assessment) + their copies.
• For those willing to pass the procedures at Bakhrushina, 18 it is necessary to have a student ID for a discount (this option is not available for prep year students)

Depending on your place of residence, choose the Migration Office (MVD).

If you live at HSE dormitory 

If you live at the dormitory  please contact the passport officer or HSE Visa and Registration Centre to clarify the information about migration offices.

If you rent your accommodation 

If you rent your accommodation you should visit the local Migration Office in your neighborhood. You may ask your landlord for the address of the local Migration Office (MVD).

Alternative paid option

If you are willing to undergo a paid procedure, you can choose an alternative option - at Migration Center in Bakhrushina street, 18. The procedure will cost 1100 rubles if you display your HSE Student ID at the center.

• During the office hours, visit the Migration Office and undergo the fingerprinting and photographing;
• Receive the document confirming the procedure (a plastic card) on the next labour day.

Send a scanned copy of the confirmation document to the email address isdocuments@hse.ru within 1 day after receiving the card. Put " Fingerprinting and photographing document" in the subject of your email.
