Each foreign student and worker arriving to Russia for a period longer than 3 months must provide fingerprints and undergo an obligatory medical examination

According to the alterations made to the federal law ‘On the legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation’ from July 14th, 2022 all foreign students who arrived to Russia for a period of stay longer than 3 months must undergo the medical examination, as well as obligatory fingerprinting and biometric photographing (do not confuse with voluntary fingerprinting!).

The deadline for completing all the procedures is the 29^th of December 2022 for those who arrived before 29th of December 2021, for those who arrived later - 3 months since the arrival date.
