1. I have completed my studies at HSE University. What should I do?

If you successfully completed your studies at HSE University, please make sure that you leave Russia before the expiry date on your visa. HSE University graduates are entitled to stay longer in Russia (e.g., they can use this time to legalize their degree certificates). If you want to stay longer in Russia, please contact your doctoral school and then make sure you have your visa extended.

If you get dismissed from HSE University, you will have to leave Russia within three calendar days from the date of your dismissal directive, regardless of your visa duration. On the day when you get the dimissal order, contact HSE Visa and registration center in person (Pokrovsky blvd 11 office D006). We will instruct you on your further steps.

2. What should I do if I want to continue my studies at HSE University?

If you plan to continue your studies at HSE University, please inform the HSE Visa and Registration Centre and make sure that you obtain a new student visa in a timely manner. Most likely, you will have to leave Russia and get a new visa invitation. The procedures for obtaining a Russian visa may differ depending on your future academic trajectory.
